The Centre has established International Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with globally recognized institutions, including Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia,Trans World University, Kuwait and Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, Indonesia. In addition, initial discussions have been successfully completed to facilitate International student internships with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand.

These collaborations enable a wide range of international activities such as:

• Student and faculty exchange programmes
• Joint research and academic initiatives
• International internships and industry projects
• Collaborative workshops, seminars, and conferences
• Global knowledge-sharing platforms

Students from the institution have already participated in international internships and project-based learning experiences across Malaysia, Japan, Dubai, Indonesia, and Vietnam, gaining valuable cross-cultural and professional exposure.

A core focus of the Centre is foreign language education, aimed at enhancing students’ global competence, communication skills, and employability. The Centre offers structured training programmes in Japanese and German languages, aligned with internationally recognized proficiency frameworks.Special emphasis is placed on Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certification training, which equips students with:

• Language proficiency across reading, writing, listening, and speaking
• Cultural awareness and professional communication skills
• Certification-oriented preparation for international education and careers

These language programmes support students aspiring for higher education abroad, international research collaborations, overseas internships, and global employment opportunities.

The Centre actively facilitates international research collaborations with leading universities and academic partners across the USA, Spain, Australia, Malaysia, Italy, Lebanon, South Korea, Pakistan, Turkey, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Russia, and Iran. Through these partnerships, faculty members and students engage in joint research, publications, academic visits, and global innovation initiatives.

In addition, the Centre regularly hosts international delegates, visiting scholars, and global experts, fostering an ecosystem of international academic exchange and multicultural learning.By integrating international collaborations, certified foreign language training, global research engagement, and mobility programmes, the Centre plays a pivotal role in developing globally competent, culturally aware, and industry-ready graduates prepared to succeed in an interconnected world.
