Toastmasters International is an educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills. Regular meetings are conducted to provide opportunities for students to,
National Cadet Corps, National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Ribbon Club (RRC) and Youth Red Cross (YRC), at KIT aim at developing student’s personality through community service.
KIT has several clubs that functions with great efficiency to enable students to participate in significant activities.
CLUB NAMES:
The students are introduced to a whole new horizon of activities that gives them a better insight for their all-around development. Every year a cultural event ‘Talent Hunt’ is conducted exclusively for the first year students. Apart from this various events like Quiz, poetry writing, Debates, Musical Instruments, Dance, Mimicry, Painting and Short Film are also organized during special events and functions.
The college has comprehensive sports facilities and provides opportunities for the students to excel in the field of sports. The players of volleyball, football, basketball, handball, throw ball, cricket, table tennis, boxing and kabbadi have brought laurels to KIT by winning many accolades at the State, National and University level tournaments. In order to inculcate sportsmanship, every year the college organizes sports day, invitational and university events inside the college premises.
Foreign language training needs to be an important part in students’ curriculum. German is the second most commonly used scientific & technological language in the world. Students are trained for certificate course in German language for providing placement opportunities worldwide .The sessions are handled by certified trainer.
