KIT offers a four-year under-graduate B.E., CSE(Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) programme which aims to develop a strong foundation by using the principles and technologies that consist of many facets of Artificial Intelligence (AI) including natural language processing, robotics, deep learning, computer vision, reasoning, problem-solving, probabilistic models, and machine learning. This course is best suited for students seeking to build world-class expertise in AI and ML and emerging technologies which help to stand in the crowd and grow careers in the upcoming technological era. The 4-year full-time program presents exposure to hands-on technologies to create applications and solutions for the world that we live in.

Welcome to the course B.E CSE with specialization in AI&ML with an intake of 60 seats. The objective of this course is to produce exceptionally talented AI and ML engineers who will revolutionize society through original AI and ML approaches. There is a huge demand for AI and ML experts in majority of fields that need transformation, and AI and ML engineers are among the highest-paid professionals in the world. Students will be able to design and create computer-based applications of varying complexity in the rapidly developing fields of AI&ML through this programme. The students shall be industry ready after practicing the AI and ML-based algorithms, techniques, and tools and their applications to varying industries. The students will explore the practical components of developing AI apps and platforms. This degree will provide expertise in problem solving, analytical skills, and the ability to design intelligent solutions for various business problems.   • PO1: Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning problems.
  • PO2: Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • PO3: Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • PO4: Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Using research-based knowledge and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning oriented research methodologies including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • PO5: Modern Tool Usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex Artificial Intelligence and machine learning engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
